What Will Make My Shed the Happiest?

A happy shed will function as it was meant to do, look great, add to property value, and keep it up for many years to come. Here are some of the factors:

The Base:

• Best
  Sheds placed on gravel (or crushed stone) platforms will have the advantage of:

  • better drainage

  • more level surface

  • less settling of the shed over time

  • fine aesthetics

• Very Good
  Placing patio-blocks (or similar construction) beneath the shed base-framing can help prevent shed settling and promote longevity.

  Let us know ahead of time.
  

• Workable
  All that is needed is a clear area to work—for the size of the shed and a few feet around it on all sides.

Access:

Access is needed to the site area by a pick-up truck with a small trailer. Material must be carried from here. 

All sheds are built on site—so adequate space around the build-site is needed for maneuvering and construction.

Site Condition:

Note the condition of the ground beneath the shed—might it be soft or wet for periods during the year? Glenn’s Sheds is not responsible for the condition of the soil beneath the shed, or how the shed will settle. We build each shed at the request and direction of the owner.

• Permits
  Will you need a permit to  have a shed built? Glenn’s Sheds is not responsible for any local zoning laws or building codes. It is up to the property owner to research this, as they see fit…

• Changes
  Any changes or variations on the standard shed sizes, customizations, or the conditions listed above, must be discussed before delivery day

Stain:
